
This is a test of Kaze’s HKBN residential broadband NAT product, positioned as a Hong Kong residential NAT that China Mobile can connect to directly.
Network
For outbound routing, Telecom and Mobile see severe packet loss, while Unicom is acceptable. Inbound backhaul utilizes the three major backbones, with similarly high loss on Telecom/Mobile and okay performance on Unicom. Actually, HKBN generally applies single-IP speed limits for connections towards Mainland China, which aligns perfectly with test results—even during off-peak hours, rates struggle to exceed 10Mbps, and heavy retransmit breaks exist. It is not suitable as a transit node even if latency looks “okay”, but highly recommended for landing or exit purposes. Inbound speed is excellent, comfortably saturating 2Gbps, and completely adequate.
IP Quality
IP quality is quite decent, with most streaming unlocks working correctly (HK itself restricts some AI; that’s a general limitation, not a core IP fault). However, because it’s dynamic rotates, some prior flags can fluctuate; otherwise, it’s fair.
Dynamic rotates can look like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: unflagged today, flagged tomorrow.
Hardware Performance
Machine performance is robust, featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU, with solid IO for easy workloads (Note the 1GB RAM limit, heavy tasks aren’t suggested).

Kaze restricts these residential offerings to 20 users and owners frequently clear abuse forwards/airports, ensuring almost no heavy-use or saturated bandwidth; traffic caps are relatively lightweight, suitable for individual endpoints. Performance, IP quality, and network capacities are all excellent—making it a very strong mid-to-high NAT selection, with promotion promos making its value even better. They also carry HKT/HKBN NAT, standing out in current HK setups.
